There are very few people today that take really good care of their skin. Don't get upset because I'm not saying that you don't wash regularly. Taking proper care of your skin should be a big concern, but having enough time to follow all skin care tips is a major problem for most people today.

 

General skin care is a necessity in having healthy, glowing skin. Just by following a few basic skin care tips, you will be amazed at the affect it will have on your complexion.

 

Cleanliness is the Key for Great Skin

 

For healthy skin care, always wash your face in the morning, at night and after any activity that causes a lot of sweating. ALWAYS wash your face with warm water. Do not use hot or cold water because this can damage your skin.

 

Use a cleanser that suits your skin type. If you have dry skin, use a soothing cleanser, for oily skin use an oil-free cleanser and for problem skin always use an acne-fighting cleanser.

 

Once you have washed your face thoroughly, use a moisturizer for your skin type to keep your skin from becoming dry.

 

Proper Diet is Essential For Healthy Skin

 

You must realize that cleanliness is not the only thing that affects your skin. What you eat and drink also has a big influence on healthy skin care. To have glowing skin, your daily diet should consist of vegetables, fresh fruits, lean proteins, healthy fats and plenty of water. Stay away from excessive dairy products and junk food (easier said than done.)
